Yet despite these hardships, Morrigan remains steadfast in her pursuit of justice and redemption, driven by a strong sense of duty and reclaim her place in Raya Lucaria and one day, restore the Royal House of Caria's power.
biography
Born into a family of nobility and prestige, Morrigan lived most of her early years in comfort and curiosity for magic and astrology having been influenced by her older brother, Sizhato. The two were inseparable, known throughout Carian Manor as a mischievous pair who used their burgeoning magical talents to pull pranks and stir up harmless trouble. Their antics often brought laughter and a little bit of trouble to their home.
Their father, Stellan, a respected figure among the nobility and a renowned scholar in the Academy of Raya Lucaria and her mother, Morgwen, a revered sorceress in her own right, nurtured their children's innate magical talents from a young age. Under their guidance, Morrigan delved deep into the secrets of the cosmos and the celestial power that emanated from the full moon.
Outside of her magical studies, Morrigan fulfilled her duties as a noblewoman with grace and diligence. She was not only a scholar of magic but also a well-rounded individual, proficient in politics, music, painting, and sewing. In her early years, when she wasn't engrossed in the arcane mysteries of Raya Lucaria's Grand Library, Morrigan acted as a lady-in-waiting for notable and older noblewomen among the Carian Royals.
Driven by an insatiable curiosity and a desire to innovate, Morrigan's explorations of the Grand Library led her to unearth the lost and incomplete principles of "mending" – a branch of sorcery that harmonized the restorative properties of the moon with the natural order of the world. This approach allowed her not only to heal physical wounds but also to mend and repair inanimate objects.
As Morrigan's reputation grew, she became a pioneer in the field of healing sorcery, founding the School of Mending. This institution attracted scholars and sorcerers from far and wide, all eager to study under her tutelage and learn the secrets of her newly forged school of sorcery. Despite her newfound responsibilities, Morrigan remained grounded, always acknowledging the support of her family, professors and classmates who supported and contributed in her journey.
However, Morrigan's idyllic life took a dark turn with the unravelling of political turmoil within Caria. As Rennala's sanity faded after Radagon left her to become a Consort to Marika, Morrigan became increasingly aware of a slow and shrouded plans to seize power from the Carian Royal Family. Soon enough, the hand of the traitor was revealed to be the Academy itself, its band of scholars assuming control of the situation and sealed their Queen into the Grand Library. Once Marika shattered the Elden Ring and the promise of War drew near, the quickly declared neutrality, using their private military that was the "Cuckoo Knights" to maintain order and influence throughout.
Morrigan pleaded with these new leaders to reconsider, advocating for Caria's defence against potential invaders in the height of the Shattering War and bolstering their forces with Carian Knights and using her sorceries to protect their homeland. Yet despite her best efforts and the backing of many supporters, she was swiftly met with betrayal. Accused of practicing unstable magic and conducting unethical experiments on students, Morrigan found herself surrounded by enemies. The sanity of the scholars and its students were slipping having been sealed inside for a long time. Their lost wits called for blood and all fingers were pointed at her.
Amidst rumours and false accusations, Morrigan was expelled and exiled from the Academy, branded a Witch and named a traitor to the Academy of Raya Lucaria. Forced to flee, she sought refuge in the wilds, using her knowledge of mending sorceries to survive and evade capture. Despite her fall from grace, Morrigan's resolve remained unbroken, determined to clear her name and reunite with her beloved brother once more.

appearance
Morrigan cuts a striking figure, her presence commanding attention in any room she walks into. Her dark black hair is often carefully arranged into a ponytail that trails down her back, with a long fringe hanging idly on the left side of her face. Thanks to her mother, she inherited Morgwen's eyes, a mesmerizing shade of cerulean blue with a subtle ethereal glow. When it comes to fashion, nobles were always the first few to don elegant fabrics and Morrigan was no different. Often clad in robes befitting her noble lineage and scholarly pursuits, Morrigan usually opts for colours of deep blue and lines of silver, bearing the sigil of Royal Caria and embroidered with detail that is adequate for a sorceress and professor of her standing. Her iconic outfit of layered robes were a memorable gift from her parents to commemorate her position as the Foundress of Mending.Unfortunately, having fled Raya Lucaria she was forced to wear simpler garments to avoid getting spotted by onlooking hunters. Sealing it in a chest in the Converted Tower, Morrigan keeps it tucked away for safekeeping to keep it neat and clean - But also to remember her fallen parents.Hanging from her hip is a slender staff, forged in silver and tipped with a blue glintstone gem, serving as a conduit for her sorceries and a symbol as a royal. Sheathed on her other side is a rapier, elegantly crafted and glistening with a faint enchantment.
