···In the land of Raya Lucaria,······ Morrigan was born into a family of renowned sorcerers and astrologers, one of the few houses that serve the Carian royalty. Morrigan learned the ways of glintstone sorcery from them. However, as she grew older, Morrigan began to question the reasoning of why most glintstone sorceries are of destructive nature and minor utility.One fateful day, while practicing her sorcery, Morrigan stumbled upon a new discovery. She found a way to use her magic to heal wounds and ailments, and she was captivated by this newfound knowledge. Morrigan began to devote all her time to researching and developing new healing spells.Despite initial scepticism and opposition from her family and other scholars, sorcerers and the like, Morrigan's research soon gained recognition and respect for her discovery. She was hailed as a pioneer in the field of glintstone healing and her spells were sought after by nobles and commoners alike.

But Morrigan's success was short-lived. During one of her experiments, a catastrophic accident occurred which resulted in the death of a young noble child. Morrigan was devastated, and her reputation was ruined. Her research was revoked, her spells were banned, and she was cast out of Raya Lucaria, branded as a black witch for her vital mistake.Feeling betrayed and alone, Morrigan fled her family's home and sought refuge in the far ends of Limgrave. There, she assumed a new identity as a physician and began using her knowledge of magic to help heal the sick and injured, also expanding it with general medicinal practices like using alchemy to create potions, tonics and salves to heal the sick.She promised to herself to never use her glintstone sorcery for harm and instead dedicate herself to perfecting her minor healing spells and making them as accessible as possible to all in an effort to give people the knowledge to heal themselves and live a better life, free of ails and woes of a sick body.As war of the shattering ravaged the land, Morrigan saw the devastation and suffering it caused and was driven to find a way to help those in need. She knew that her research could make a difference, and so she has begun experimentation once more to forge greater healing spells as well as a few utility ones too, to ensure that the people of all walks of life can survive the war and avoid a deathless end within the erdtree.

···ONE.······i am new to the fromsoft / soulsborne / elden ring verse so please be patient with me when it comes to lore interpretation and how people build their characters for roleplay in the world of elden ring. i am also new to rping on twitter.···TWO.······i can be very busy with life in general - so just a heads up that i may be painfully slow with responses or the quality may go down if i am exhausted (but stubbornly still want to rp.) my timezone is gmt uk time and i usually roleplay or respond late in the evening and more frequently during weekdays.···THREE.······when it comes to responses, i usually write two or three paragraphs - they can get shorter depending on the situation but i try my best to match my partner's length. i cannot write novella, however. one liners are only reserved for crack rps.

···FOUR.······a lot of morrigan's character is inspired off of sorceress sellen. she knows of the graven witch due to the many legends and stories around her but has not interacted with her at all. (maybe she could, who knows.) i try to make her different, but she follows the same line of getting exiled from the academy for questionable practices.···FIVE.······this oc can diverge from canon a little bit - if you are not comfortable with that i am happy to tweak and change to suit our characters' interactions if you need! i will try my best to work with what i can but please be patient with me as i am not fully familiar with fromsoft games.
